NCAA March Madness Bracket Tournaments

Posted by: Dave on: 11 Mar, 2010

madness of march NCAA March Madness Bracket TournamentsIts just about that time of year again! Selection Sunday is only three days away now and everyone will be getting ready to gamble on their favorite March Madness Bracket Contests.

There are dozens of free contests out there that you can play for pride because millions of people are entering and only the top 1 to 5 brackets win anything at all. If that’s all your looking for then go ahead and set up your yearly group in your choice of major national sports website and get your bragging rights over your friends (and maybe a little money too).

But if you’re looking for a real bracket contest to enter with a really large prize pool, take a look at the $500,000 Madness of March Contest hosted by SBG Global.

Madness of March Contest

With almost all March Madness bracket contests, if you see that there is more then $100,000 in the name it usually means that you can win that amount if you get a perfect bracket or guess the winners of all 63 games played in the NCAA college basketball tournament.

This isn’t the case with SBG Global as they are actually offering a $500,000 prize pool, including a massive $175,000 for the 1st place winner. Here is how this contest works:

You must be at least 18 years old and need to be a member at SBG Global before you can enter. Depositing is very easy and you can sign up here if you would like to enter.

You will be given a traditional style 64 team bracket to fill out. You must submit your entry before the first game tips off at Noon Eastern Standard Time on Thursday March 18th.

For each first round game that you win, you will receive 1 point. 2 points for correctly guessing the second round winner, 4 points for correct Sweet 16 picks, 8 points for correct Elite 8 picks, 16 points for guessing the correct winners of the final four games and 32 points if you pick the correct NCAA college basketball champion.

Like I said before, the 1st place winner gets $175,000. 2nd place is no consolation prize though receiving $100,000. 3rd place wins $60,000, 4th place gets $35,000 and 5th through 30th place wins $5,000 each.

Also, be on the lookout for the different March Madness Promotions that are available from the sportbooks this time of year. A lot of the promotions give you either a cash bonus or reduced juice when you bet on NCAA basketball games during the tournament.

BetUS 2010 $5 Million March Mayhem Bracket Contest

Don’t want to pay to be in a great bracket contest? Why not get a free entry into the largest perfect bracket tournament around? Sign up at BetUS and get a free entry into this contest.

Select all 63 games correctly and you will get $5 million dollars. Ok, so that probably will never happen because the odds are better that you will win the lottery. But, you can win cash prizes including the $10,000 1st place prize for this contest and also for the Second Chance Bracket winner.

You must be 18 or older to participate and must have a BetUS account to receive an entry.
