Well it has now happened. The One Billionth Blackjack Hand has now been dealt. It took a little bit longer than I expected, but congratulations to the winner!

We are are still a little under 500,000 hands left until the billionth hand is dealt. It still seems like there was some problem earlier, because only a couple thousand hands in several hours were played this close to the end? The final hand has got to be some time tonight. I’m going to guess that it will be around 10:00-11:00PM ET.

I wanted to see how close we were to the billionth hand, but I need to place a bet before I can do that. The blackjack game was temporarily malfunctioning and I couldn’t get the cards dealt to me.

I didn’t lose any money after placing the bets. It’s just that I couldn’t seem to make a bet on blackjack. I was able to bet on Pai Gow Poker (one of my other favorite games). There wasn’t any delay. The same was true for most other games.
